Review: Soap and Glory 'Clean, Girls' Body Wash

Another 5 months, another Soap&Glory Body Wash.. Say what you will about these, but no one can argue they give a lot of bang for your buck.

When my Clean On Me shower gel was done about 5 months ago I went straight on to Clean Girls. It had a lot to live up to as I loved Clean On Me a lot. Clean Girls is similar in consistency, color and smell, but they are a bit different nonetheless.

Clean Girls is ment to moisturize your skin due to a "built in moisturizing matrix". I'd say it did a fairly good job of doing this. I would sometimes leave it on for a bit whilst washing my face or something like that in the shower, and my skin would definitely feel more moisturized after this than it did before. However, it did not make me ever feel like I could skip body lotion. The only product that's ever achieved that is Garnier's 7 Days Body Lotion.

These pictures were taken when I had first gotten it, that's why the bottle is full! :)

The smell is gorgeous; clean, sweet and very girly is how I'd describe it (knowing full well I'm terrible at describing scents) and one most Soap&Glory users will be familiar with. More specifically it smells of their 'Mist You Madly' scent for those of you that know what that smells like. You can definitely smell the scent from this for a while after you've used it, but still it's not overpowering and it doesn't linger on the skin.

There was no way I wasn't going to compare Clean Girls to Clean On Me. When it comes down to it, I prefer Clean On Me. Clean Girls doesn't lather up as nicely as Clean On Me, it doesn't go as far meaning I felt I had to use a bit more product, but nothing too drastic. Still, Clean Girls is a great body wash that I definitely wouldn't mind getting for christmas, but should it come down to me and the two of them, in boots in the midst of a face-off for my credit card I'd go for Clean On Me. But I'd put that down to personal preference.
