Subtle Rosy Matte Eye With Glossy Pink Lips for Valentine's Day

Step 1: Apply an eyeshadow base or primer to allow the eyeshadow to appear more vibrant and stay on all day. Then take a pinky nude eyeshadow and apply it onto your eyelid. After that take a blending brush and apply a muted rose eyeshadow all over your crease. This is your transition shade.

Tip: A transition shade is a neutral eyeshadow shade that'll help you blend out darker eyeshadow colors in a nice transition :)

What I Used: Palace of Versaille (Lid) & Moulin Rouge (crease) from the Tarte Bon Voyage Palette.

Step 2: Continue to build up your transition shade if you feel like it's not pigmented enough. From there, apply a mauve eyeshadow from the outer edge of your eye into the crease in a v-shape. Start by applying the most color on the outer edge and begin to drag the color slowly into the crease.

Tip: When blending darker matte eyeshadows take your time to prevent the eyeshadow from looking patchy as if it's not blend evenly.

What I Used: I Think I Cannes from the Tarte Bon Voyage Palette

Step 3: Take a deep blackberry eyeshadow and apply it only to the outter edge of your eye to bring further definition to your socket line. Blend  the color up, not inward, so it fades towards your brow bone. Lastly apply eyeliner, mascara and a white shimmer eyeshadow with a pink undertone to the brow bone and inner corner.

Tip: Put the blackberry eyshadow only on the tip of your blending brush to ensure a precise application.

What I Used: My Own Cotes du Rhone (blackberry) from the Tarte Bon Voyage Palette, Bootycall (white pink) from the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette, Avon Extra Lasting Eyeliner in Black, and Mac In Extreme Dimension 3D Black Lash Mascara

You can then apply a pink lip :)

What I Used: L'Oreal Colour Riche Lipcolour in Spicy Mauve with NYX Cosmetics Butter Lipgloss in Eclair on top.
