Review: Oriflame Optimals Seeing is Believing Multi benefits Eye Cream

I bought this particular product around 2 months back. The main reason behind buying this product was to get rid of my under eye dark circles and puffiness, which this product promised. I'd already tried Garnier eye creams and Anne Marie Borlind Pura Soft Q10 eye care cream, out of which Anne Marrie worked wonders for me. The only problem for me was that it wasn't available in India and hence I was desperately searching for some product that could do similar wonder to my under eye dark circles.

I stumbled upon Oriflame Optimals Seeing is Believing Multi benefits Eye Cream while browsing through Oriflame products on its website. The full stars and top rating by 6 customers tempted me to get this product as soon as possible. I've been using this product since past 1.5 months now, so thought of reviewing it here today.

What does Oriflame say about its Optimals Seeing is Believing Multi benefits Eye Cream?

Lightweight eye cream visibly reduces puffiness, brightens dark circles and helps smooth out fine lines. Its D-circle Complex helps reduce puffy eyes and brighten dark circles. Eyebright extract helps soften shadows.

How I use it?

After my regular CTM routine at night before going to sleep, I take a little bit of this cream on my index finger and rub it around my eye area. I massage the cream gently in my sockets, on crease and lashes as well.

My experience with Oriflame Optimals Seeing is Believing Multi benefits Eye Cream:

Pros:

1) The cream comes in a small cute jar, and is light blue in color. The texture of the cream is quite balanced. It is neither too thick, nor too runny.

2) The cream has very mild fragrance, which can easily be ignored.

3) It doesn't cause any stickiness or greasiness around my eyes. The product gets easily absorbed within a minute of massaging, leaving just a little bit of oiliness, which I believe is necessary for the moisturizing and hydrating effects. Also, it hasn't created any allergic reaction or stinginess to me.

4) A little goes a long way.

5) In the initial 3 weeks of regular usage, I couldn't spot any difference in my under eyes and was thinking that I've wasted my money on another dud product. But after that, I could feel certain difference in how my eyes looked. The problem is that it is quite difficult for us to notice subtle slow changes in our faces that happen daily.

In fact, I came to realize about the reduction of my under eye dark circles and puffiness from the way I use my concealer. I usually had to blend my concealer with foundation to get the right shade as my concealer is a bit lighter for my face. Since past 2 weeks I've noticed that, just using very little amount of concealer works well in hiding my under eye dark circles. Also, the puffiness has been reduced to a great extent. I was expecting it to work like Anne Marie Borlind pura soft Q10, that could give me results within 4-5 nights, but it wasn't the case with this. The cream works slowly but effectively.

Cons:

1) It comes in a small jar unlike a tube, so you have to dip your finger to get the product out.

2) The cream is definitely effective, but works slowly.

3) My dark circles come back if I forget to apply this cream for 1-2 days continuously.

4) You need to contact an Oriflame consultant for getting this.

5) Contains parabens.

Overall verdict: It is a good under eye cream for people who have patience to wait for at least 3-4 weeks to see the results. If you want to get rid of under eye dark circles faster than this then I think, this is not the product for you. It works for sure, but the results take time to show up. I am still looking for another under eye cream that can deliver faster results; otherwise I'd definitely buy this again.
